i love stockholm!

UPDATE (20 Jan - 23:30 CET/14:30 PST) the rest of the pictures are now uploaded! :D

ORIGINAL POST (20 Jan - 16:55 CET):
After having spent an amazing couple of days in Sweden with the Downey family, I'm so sad to go back to Paris and start the next semester!! :(  It's been so nice to just relax and have deep and meaningful conversations with good friends before heading back to class!! I'm so grateful to the Downey family for welcoming me into their home and being the best hosts ever! (They even packed me a lunch for my journey home! :O)

Yesterday morning was beautiful with the sun shining for a while, before disappearing back behind the clouds. But Helen and I spent the day exploring Stockholm, including the building where my aunt used to work and some nice shops, like this cuteee design shop that sold a lot of cool things (click here to see the website! :D). Sweden is definitely the country of great ideas AND of mixing the modern and the old really well! I LOVE it!

I also got the chance to explore the Vasa Museum, which houses a ship from the 17th century that sank on her maiden voyage. It's a little weird going there after hearing all the news about the cruise ship in Italy... It's a beautiful museum, and you can learn more about it if you click here! :)

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends, especially the kind with which you can catch up so easily after so many years as if nothing has changed! Hopefully the next time we meet will be sooner than four years later like this last time!!!

Tack så mycket to the lovely Downey family! <3

Here are some pictures from my last day in Sweden! Since the internet here in Amsterdam is SO slow and I only have a couple minutes of internet left (AH!), I'll upload the rest in another post!
