19.2.12

one day at a time..

Right now, I'm kind of at a point where I'm just super burnt out with classes and don't feel like doing any work :( It's definitely hard feeling like this when I know that everything is going to start piling on in a bit. But I'm trying to take it one day at a time and hopefully get out the other end of this tunnel in one piece!!

Just four more days and then I'll be heading off to Spain and Morocco for just over a week! Definitely need some downtime right now from class... Looking forward to this week of class being overrr...

Figured I should take a trip to the Eiffel Tower :)

13.2.12

two days in normandy

This last weekend, instead of staying home and studying, like I probably should have done... I went to Normandy on an organized trip. This particular trip focused on D-Day, which was quite sobering and educational. On Saturday, we got to visit Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Arromanches-Les-Bains, and the Memorial in Caens. Throughout my weekend, I definitely thought about my brother a lot, since he's a huge history buff! Hopefully someday we'll be able to visit them together :)

Also thought of my older sister when I visited Mont St. Michel on Sunday! Ever since I saw her pictures of her visit in her senior year of high school, I've always dreamed of visiting!

Now, it's off to learn (hopefully!)! Enjoy the pictures :)
